Fun Tuesday!

Today I went with my mom and our friend Jenilee and her son Gabe to Bridal Veil Falls to let the kids play in the water. They had so much fun splashing and throwing rocks, while Korver just slept the whole time. We also had a picnic there. Olivia and Gabe are so cute together. Gabe is only a few months older than Olivia. They both copy eachother. It was such a fun day.

3 Years

So this past weekend we celebrated our 3 year anniversary! Mike surprised me with the whole thing. We left our kids with my parents- the first time in 3 years that Mike and me have just had a weekend to ourselves. So on Friday we started it off with going to Lagoon. It was the perfect day to go, we didnt have to wait in lines! We went on just about every ride except the Rocket- not my favorite one, but we did go on Wicked a few times, and at least two times on every other ride. It was so much fun. We spent most of the day there, and then Mike didn't tell me where we were going but he ended up taking me to Park City. He was able to get a condo for us. It was SWEEEEEEEEET! I took a few pics of it. So nice. There was tons of room- 7 beds, 2 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, laundry room, way nice kitchen and family room, and a hot tub right outside the room we slept in. After we got settled and rested for a little bit, we went to dinner on Main Street. On Saturday we went to the alpine slide and coaster- It is so much fun. Definitly go! After we went and walked on Main Street- they were having a big dinner on main street thing that night, where they close off the street and line it with tables and decorations and I guess its an annual thing it was crazy busy. Anyways after we did some shopping on Main street, we went to the Outlet Malls for some more shopping. We found some way good deals, and of course some way cute outfits for Korver and Olivia- of course we both missed them like crazy! But it was a nice little getaway. I sure got my exercise all weekend from all the walking we did:) Then we headed back to the condo, and rested before we went to dinner on Main Street- and of course no parking anywhere because Main Street was blocked off. After we went back to the condo and relaxed in the hot tub. It was a wonderful anniversary! Mike really outdid himself:) I have the most wonderful husband!

Tuesday

So this morning we started the day off with another walk, then some cleaning, and then Olivia helped me make some rolls- and they turned out so yummy:) Then we went on another walk to the park to let Olivia play. Korver was in such a good mood today! Last night he slept from 10 until 4 and then went right back to sleep after I fed him:) So lately he has been sleeping 6 hours before waking up. I think its pretty good for a 6 week old- for at least how fussy he has been, but now he is a lot happier and more content, or at least getting there:)

He is starting to smile so much lately!

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day! I have the best husband and he is the greatest dad! He really has been such a wonderful husband and father. I know he does all he can for all of us, and I love him so much. Not only is he a great supporter, but these are just a few reasons why I love him :

1. He gets down on his hands and knees and plays with Olivia.

2. He gets up in the night to feed Korver- sometimes he'll even take over the whole night even when he has to get up early for work.

3. He will let Olivia put "makeup" on him.

4. He still opens my door for me.

Im so lucky I married him! I am so greatful that he has sacrificed a lot for our family. Like selling his car when I know he blames me for selling it, but I know he did it for our family:) ( eventually he can buy another one:)) Also I am so so so greatful that he can give blessings, to both me and our children. I am so blessed to have married such a wonderful man!

Busy Day For Me:)

The weather is perfect today... well right now it is. I decided there shouldn't be weather forecasts in Utah because the weather changes so much in Utah. Today so far I have been trying to keep my house as clean as I can- its really like Im keep cleaning it just so Olivia can keep messing it up:) We went for a walk this morning- almost two miles- I decided I will try to walk it everyday... or at least when I am able to with two kids. Then after feeding and entertaining Korver and Olivia, making lunch for Olivia, doing the laundry, more cleaning, coloring my hair while both kids napped... I know it doesnt seem like a lot but for me it is. Especially with the two kids. And then while Korver was taking his afternoon nap Olivia wanted to play outside- and I practiced taking some pictures of her- Im still trying to figure out my camera and its hard to take pictures of a toddler- well I guess to get non-blurry ones since she doesnt want to sit still, or have mommy take her pictures:) So she is excellent practice for me. Right now Olivia is eating some yogurt, and Korver is sleeping so I am going to try and figure out what to make for dinner, and go clean some more...

Strawberry Days Rodeo

So we went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo last night. The weather was perfect summer weather! It didnt get cold the whole time we were there. Olivia loved watching the horses, and she had fun dancing to the music:)

I curled her hair, but by the time we went to the rodeo she had been playing a lot so it went flat from her laying on it. I am so glad she has a ton of hair... so I can play with it:)

Happy Wednesday

I just love how much hair Korver has! Stephanie took these pics of him at Kasi's baby shower. Can you believe how cute he is?! and 5 weeks old! Oh.... and the shorts are from Build A Bear:) Anyways tonight we are taking Olivia to the Strawberry Days Rodeo. It will be the first time she has been, and I think she will like it. But I thought these pics were way cute, and they made my day. So, so far its a happy wednesday:)

Lagoon

So today Mike, me, my dad and Olivia went to Lagoon, and my mom stayed and watched Korver. Last time we took him I think he got too much wind so we will wait til he is bigger to take him with us again. But Lagoon was so fun! Olivia was so cute on the rides, she actually got excited to go on them! (Im so glad getting her a pass wasn't a waste:))

My dad helped out with Olivia so Mike and me could go on some rides aswell.

Olivia loves to ride the Merry- go-round.

Last time I took her on the helicopter ride she didnt pull the bar back, so she didnt go up in the air- this time I showed her how before the ride started.

She loved driving in the cars!

I don't think she knows exactly what to think of the faster rides- she goes on them but once they start her face is like "What are my parents making me do!"

She doesn't quite know how to steer on the bumper cars but she still likes to go on them.

And of course she kept wanting to go on the boat. She went on the some rides with Grandpa too! She went on a bunch of rides today, and then we let her play in the water. Mike did one game- Its the 3 point challenge, and he kept the record for most of the day. He won Olivia and Korver each a Jazz bear. We will go back to Lagoon sometime soon!
