Park City Shopping

I love shopping in Park City especially for kids clothes- so much cheaper than at the mall:) I found some way cute outfits for Olivia and Korver yesterday. I found a couple cute things for myself aswell and some for Mike. It was a really fun day shopping with my parents and Melanie- The purpose of Park City was more for school shopping for Melanie, but I needed to buy Olivia some outfits for this next year.

Soakin' It Up!

So this lately I have been thinking how Olivia is 2! Like really? The years are flying by so fast! In a few years she will be starting school! It just made me realize what a wonderful husband I have for letting me be a stay at home mom to be able to watch my kids grow up! I just want to soak up every moment. Lately Olivia has been pushin' our buttons- acting like a true 2 yr old:) But I realize she is just learning and how important it is for Mike and I to teach her. I was thinking how I need to think more before I react to what she does. Because she is so stinkin' cute! And everyday she just gets cuter! And the same for Korver. He is 11 weeks now! That flew by in a blink! I just think I am the luckiest mom to have the two cutest kids!

She Thinks We're Just Fishin'

We went fishing up in Kamas with Mike's parents today. It was Olivia's first time, and Korver's but he just slept the whole time:) but Olivia did pretty well. Even though she was afraid of the fish we did get her to grab onto the fishing pole and she caught a fish(with mom's help:)) The place we went is perfect for kids since its a pond filled with fish, but the patient part comes if you want to try and catch a big one....
I caught the big one out of all the fish we caught today. 18 1/2 inches long.

The fish Olivia caught:)

Mike's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband. His birthday was on the 14th of this month but we celebrated it more than one day. On Thursday he got his presents and we went to dinner at Pizza Factory. On Friday we went to the new Transformers movie- loved it! And then on Saturday we had planned to go down to Riverwoods, and do some shopping and some more stuff but Olivia was sick so we have postponed for a little bit- so its more like a birthday month:) He is not really a cake person so I bought him some cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory, and then I made him 29 baseball cookies.

Mike is the most wonderful husband. He works so hard so provide for us and he is an awesome dad! I love watching him play with Olivia.

Olivia: Look Whoooo's 2!

(sorry but for some reason when I upload pics they upload blurry)
Happy Birthday to Olivia (yesterday:)) She turned two can you believe it! She has changed so much just in a year! Some of her favorite things to do:
Dance
Sing
Make us laugh
Say "hi" to
Watch movies
Play outside-especially at parks
Dress herself
And some things she has been doing more of:
She can understand pretty much everything, and she is trying to talk a lot more- most of I can still only understand her but she really does try to point and explain what she wants. She has such an imagination. She loves all girly things too! She loves to do her dolls hair and talk to them to ask them what they want done. She loves to do Daddy's makeup and hair and loves to get her nails painted. And she absolutly loves to wear mommy and daddy's shoes and she has claimed all of my purses.
At age 1 (above)
At age 2:)
We woke her up to open some presents. Daddy is going to start to teach her how to play baseball:) She always is taking out my keyboard so we got her one. And she also got a toy for her dolls- like a bath with high chair and hangers etc. She got a bunch of toys from her party and some way cute clothes!

Olivia is 2! I seriously don't know where the time has gone! She is really growing too fast! For her birthday I took her down to Riverwoods to play on the Carousel, and I had planned to let her play in the water area outside but it was broken. And then we had a little party for her.

On the last time riding it she wanted to try out sitting on the bench.

Party Time! I chose to do an Owl theme if you couldn't tell:) Thanks to everyone who was able to come:)

Thank you's

Really yummy sugar cookies! I attempted to make Owl ones. I didnt have a cookie cutter so I had to make it up by hand, but they do taste yummy:)

My attempt at some cake pops.

Birthday cake! I didnt want to make a fondant cake this year.
