Olivia's First Pigtails
I know it seems like a post everyday, but this blog is like a journal for me so its okay, right?:) Plus my little girl is growing up so fast I love posting things about her. So Olivia's hair is growing the fastest and is the longest on top of her head, and I haven't really played with her hair a lot but I decided it's finally time for some pigtails. Her hair is so fine- of course, just like all babies:) but it can finally hold in a little elastic. She sat really good for me while I put them in. Seriously is she not just the cutest thing you've ever seen!:)

Future Basketball Star?
So lately anything I give Olivia she has to "dribble" in her hands back and forth. Its the cutest thing. I think she is practicing her dribbling at a young age- even though its not necessarily with a basketball. I'm pretty sure she is a young basketball prodigy in the making:) Like they say practice makes perfect.

Jazz Win
Stephanie and Jon invited us to go to another Jazz game! They are so awesome to invite us. It was so much fun. The Jazz played against the Bobcats and it was an exciting game to watch. The Jazz won! So Jon got to play a time out contest where he had to shoot free throws against another guy. Jon made 10 baskets, and the other guy made 5. So Jon won a Duffel Bag full of sports bars, vitamins and healthy food- pretty awesome and also a signed Korver jersey. Korver is Mike's favorite Jazz player. So when we were leaving Jon told Mike he needed to update his jersey and gave Mike the jersey that he won!Pretty sure that made Mike's year- or at least its up there:) How cool is Jon?! Steph and Jon are so awesome for inviting us! We had a blast!!!

Basketball Coach
So Mike and me were called not only as CTR 4 teachers in our Ward, but also the Young Men and Young Women sports coaches. Basketball just ended and we didn't make it to region but I don't think Ward sports should be about winning anyways. Yes, it's really nice to win, but I think it can bring a lot of contention. When I was in Young Womens' I didn't like to play with the Ward because the coaches always just wanted to win. I'm all about letting all the girls play the same amount of time no matter how good they are because it's really about fellow shipping and having a good time. I am glad I was called as the coach, and I think a lot of the girls were happy with how I let them play. Well since they didn't make it to region I decided to make them some cupcakes to let them know how well they played, and to thank them for coming to practices and the games. I'm not the best cupcake decorator but I think they turned out just fine.

Lately, besides making tutus, I have really been into sewing, scrap booking and a lot of crafts- must be the momma in me:) These are just some of the crafts I have worked on. I had so much fun making all of these:

Valentines Day Surprise
So we celebrated Valentines Day tonight instead of tomorrow. For the past two Valentines Mike has surprised me with a piece of jewelry. Both have been gorgeous necklaces. Each time he has always put them in the jockey box of his car. So when we were leaving to go eat he told me to check for something in the jockey box, and to my surprise.... there was nothing there. (He thought it was pretty funny) I wasn't expecting him to get me anything this year anyways. So then he told me I had something on my face, so I flipped down the mirror and a necklace fell down hanging from the mirror! He is more romantic than he thinks he is. It was really cute! And for hating Valentines Day as much as he does, he does a great job at spoiling/surprising me on it! I absolutely love the necklace. It was so thoughtful!

Who Needs Starbucks?
I love Starbucks, who doesn't? Of course, I don't drink coffee but I think that the other drinks they have are amazing! Especially their Caramel Apple Spice! Mike absolutely loves it. Well now we don't have to go to Starbucks to buy them anymore. The recipe for them is the easiest thing. All it is, is their Cinnamon Dulce Syrup, Tree Top apple juice, Caramel topping and Whip cream! They sell their syrup over the counter, but I have heard you can buy it at Target also. And its only about $7 for a Liter of the syrup- they only sell it by the Liter. That's a lot cheaper than spending $4-$5 on one drink, when you can make a ton yourself.
Instructions:
If you don't own a Cocomotion machine (they are about $20) Go buy one! or you can use your microwave.
1. Add Treetop apple juice and Syrup together- if you have a pump for the syrup it's about 2-5 pumps whatever you desire- the syrup can be really strong
2. Heat/Steam together- the Cocomotion is perfect for this
3. Pour in a mug- I like to put a little caramel in the bottom of the mug before
4.Add whip cream on top of your drink
5. Drizzle caramel topping on top
6. Enjoy! Caution: will be hot.
Warning: You will get addicted!

Lady Bug Outfit
I just love baby clothes! Especially baby girl clothes! I think it would be the coolest job to design baby clothes. I thought this outfit was so adorable. I love the black frilly skirt and lady bug onesie. They are from Baby Gap. The skirt is big on Olivia but the two Pieces of clothing just look so cute together I had to take a picture.

Feet Shoes
So my brother just had his birthday in January and he is really into running, and parkour type of things. So for his birthday he asked for some parkour shoes, but instead he got these Vibram five fingers. They say they are so good for your feet when you run and they can take form of your foot. They are really comfy. They are sort of funny looking in a cool- different way. I think they are awesome! But if you want to buy them you should try them on first to get the size you need because it's the size of your foot and not your regular shoe size. They are a pretty sturdy shoe.
