A Very Serious Matter

So we are up in Idaho until tomorrow because Mike is doing a stone side job, and his sister Amy was kind enough to let us crash at her place. It's kind of crazy how things happened because they are in Utah right now for Memorial weekend. Anyways onto the serious business. It is so critical that Olivia gets an afternoon nap at her regular time- between 12 and 1 or else she does not go to sleep. The car ride up really through off her schedule and she transforms into this little monster at night, but its so funny because she will try and make us laugh, by making funny faces and laughing at herself. She doesnt want to take naps lately, well at 5 pm she does... she just doesnt want to miss out on anything so I have to make sure she gets at least a good nap in around noon. I guess its harder to keep her on her schedule when we are out of town too.

Jump Around

Our landlords got this for their pre-school kids, and they were so nice to let us play in it:). Its one of the coolest blow up toys I have seen. We took Olivia out to play in it right before her bedtime(hence the pajamas). It took her a while to get used to the bouncing around, but she warmed up pretty fast.

She loved going down the slide part of it.

Kevin Graduates!

My brother Kevin graduated from PG High today. He has accomplished so much this year! He earned his Associates Degree also. Seriously, he can do anything! Amazing writer, pianoist- he makes up music like transiberian orchestra type of stuff, way good at Parkour and really everything. He will be able to anything. He is so talented!

It's Official!

Had to hurry and post that Olivia is walking! When I was recording her earlier today she was still only taking a few steps and tumbling, and when I was playing with her this afternoon she started walking and stopping and walking all around the room! Only 10 months old, what a big girl:) It's so exciting!

Look Out World ... Cause' Here I Come

So Olivia has been balancing herself really good lately. She walks really good if she is holding onto Mike's or my finger and is starting to take steps on her own, but she gets really excited and hurries so she falls quicker too:)

Vintage Headbands

So Tiffany and me are making these vintage headbands. I had to post them because I think the pictures we got taken of them turned out so cute! There will be more posted on fireflytutus.com of different styles too. I love making them!

Someone's Watchin' Over Me

So last night Mike, Olivia and me were heading on out to go to dinner and right before we were going to turn onto the freeway a car hit our back end. Luckily we are all okay besides a little whip lash, but I'm just grateful that nothing bad happened to Olivia or Mike. We have to get a new bumper now. I'm really just glad it's just that and nothing else. I don't know what I would have done if it had been worse. My family is everything to me. I'm so glad that someone was watching over us.
