Olivia: Look Whoooo's 2!

Happy Birthday to Olivia (yesterday:)) She turned two can you believe it! She has changed so much just in a year! Some of her favorite things to do:

Dance

Sing

Make us laugh

Say "hi" to

Watch movies

Play outside-especially at parks

Dress herself

And some things she has been doing more of:

She can understand pretty much everything, and she is trying to talk a lot more- most of I can still only understand her but she really does try to point and explain what she wants. She has such an imagination. She loves all girly things too! She loves to do her dolls hair and talk to them to ask them what they want done. She loves to do Daddy's makeup and hair and loves to get her nails painted. And she absolutly loves to wear mommy and daddy's shoes and she has claimed all of my purses.

We woke her up to open some presents. Daddy is going to start to teach her how to play baseball:) She always is taking out my keyboard so we got her one. And she also got a toy for her dolls- like a bath with high chair and hangers etc. She got a bunch of toys from her party and some way cute clothes!

Olivia is 2! I seriously don't know where the time has gone! She is really growing too fast! For her birthday I took her down to Riverwoods to play on the Carousel, and I had planned to let her play in the water area outside but it was broken. And then we had a little party for her.

On the last time riding it she wanted to try out sitting on the bench.

Party Time! I chose to do an Owl theme if you couldn't tell:) Thanks to everyone who was able to come:)

Really yummy sugar cookies! I attempted to make Owl ones. I didnt have a cookie cutter so I had to make it up by hand, but they do taste yummy:)

Baby Kye

My sister Kasi had her baby on July 8th. So Korver and him are exactly 2 months apart:) He was 6 lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long. They named him Brady Kye Hoggard, but they are going to go by Kye. We went up on Saturday to visit them. He is a beautiful baby boy!

Olivia couldnt go past the waiting room because she wasn't a sibling to Kye, but we showed her through the window.

He isn't really as big as Korver.

Melanie

So all of my siblings are way talented. My sister Melanie has written some songs lately and just the other day she went to record them. She plays and sings them at the same time. She plays the piano and has taught herself to play the guitar too. I think she is amazing! She has been writing a lot of church songs but the last song on her cd is a a really cute love song she wrote!

4th of July Fun!

This year for the 4th of July we did fireworks with my family. But first we started the day out with going to breakfast with Mike's mom and dad. Then we went to Lagoon. It actually turned out to be a great day at Lagoon- good weather, and not crowded:) We spent most of the day at Lagoon with my mom and dad, sisters Melanie and Steph and Steph's husband Jon. After we got back we went to my parents to do fireworks. The neighbors had a bunch too. Olivia liked to throw the snaps and stomp on them. It was a good fourth!

BBQ

Mike's sister DeAnn invited us over for a BBQ today. Here are some pics- Mikes dad always says he won't hold kids until they are 2 but I just set Korver on his lap and left so he had to:)

Trafalga

So yesterday I took Olivia to Trafalga for mini golfing. On Thursdays everything is only $3- each attraction that is, and Olivia was free anyways:) My mom and dad came with me. Mike is in Scofield for the weekend so I didnt want to just sit around. Olivia was so cute trying to hit the ball in the hole, and when she got impatient she would just pick it up and put it in:) She had a blast.
