Quick Update

The days seem to go by so fast lately. I am 35 weeks pregnant and its going by super fast! I just hope this baby waits to come:) I can't beleive in about a month we will have a little boy:) So in the past.. . hmmm, month I guess:)... we have been pretty busy. We went up to Idaho to visit Amy and her family last weekend. It was really nice to visit with them and play Ticket to Ride:) Olivia is growing up so fast. She has such a fun imagination. She loved playing with her cousins in Idaho. Mike won a Utah Jazz contest where we got to go meet some of the Jazz players and then get to see a movie. Mike got a basketball signed by three of the players- Hayward, Harris and Price so now we just need to get the rest of the team to sign it. Then we saw the movie- Rango- I dont think it will be one that I buy but at least it was free:) So it seems that this conference has been based mostly on family, and I just wanted to say how grateful I am for my family. For the wonderful man I fell in love with and get to spend the rest of my life with! He is an amazing husband and Im so lucky to have him in my life. He works so hard to support our family and I love him for it. For the sweet little princess, that has sort of claimed our bed as her own:) She brings so much joy to Mike and me. Everything she does... I wouldnt trade any of it for anything. Yes she does have those "terrible two's" moments... a lot lately... but we love her so much! Im so glad we are teaching her how to pray and that reading the scriptures are important.- well as much as you can teach a toddler. It will be so exciting to see how the next month goes... especially with a new edition coming:)

What Have We Been Up To?

So I know I have really been slacking, but our new computer has different things with blogger. It makes it a little more difficult but Im trying to get used to it. It seems that life has been pretty busy lately. Olivia loves to help me with the dishes lately:

I have been trying to take more pictures with my camera. I took some of Olivia outside. So here are just a couple- I wanted to upload some more but it won't let me right now.

Sweet little angel...

Right?...
(well a messy one)

So along with doing the dishes Olivia loves to help with everything, so she helped me make some pudding and I didnt want to get her clothes messy, so that is why no shirt:) She is such a sweet little angel... for the most part. Lately she is talking a lot more and she is also saying "no!" a lot... She can be quite a little stinker. We are finally getting her on a no binky schedule- only for naps and bedtime and she knows it. When I go get her after her nap she usually tries to hide her binky and sneak it out but if I tell her to leave it in her crib she will usually listen. She is 20 months old! We took her to the Discovery Gateway museum in Salt Lake last weekend. There were way to many people there for any of us to have any fun. She just held onto Mike's or my hand pretty tight the whole time. We did get some fun pictures I'll have to upload them later. I just think she needs to be a little older to have more fun or maybe if we went not on a Saturday.

I also gave myself some highlights and its really hard to give your self highlights, expecially if you have long hair. But I think they turned out pretty good. I wanted to do blonde ones but I decided for now to go more caramel... plus its too hard to do them with a toddler so the foils were only in for about 5 minutes:)

Also I am 31 weeks. Only 9 weeks left! I cant believe it! I am feeling pretty good. Just tired, my body is more sore this time around but Im really glad I am not sick.

Sad Day

So our computer wasn't working and we think it has a virus so I haven't been able to blog so we got a new laptop and no thats not the sad part:) but it will just take me some time to post some pics up, and I like to post pictures with each post but I wanted to blog. So I was doing the laundry a couple days ago. And as I was taking Mike's jerseys out of the washing machine, I pulled out one of Olivia's barbies. We went to Mike's game on Saturday and she had taken a barbie and it must have gotten tossed in with the jerseys. Well I didn't just pull out her barbie in 1 peice. The wash decapitated her head! Olivia saw me pull it out of the wash and she was so sad! She kept saying "momma" in the saddest voice and had the saddest face. She wanted me to fix it, and I did try to tape the head back on but it was broken pretty bad. So I just pulled her out a new barbie from one of the ones she got from Christmas, and that seemed to make her forget about her broken barbie. It was a pretty dramatic day for her.

29 Weeks

So I decided I should update a pic of me. This is me at 29 weeks. I feel like I am an elephant:)

Two People That Make My Everyday

1. Mike

So Mike and me will write sweet notes to each other on the whiteboard we have on our fridge, but its been a while since we have kept up with it- or at least me... I woke up to this, this morning. I have such a sweet husband who has been putting up with so much lately. With being pregnant this time around has been really hard on my body and Mike has been very patient with me. And then of course he has been superman with my hand being broken- I finally can make a hard fist w/o it hurting:) But up until this time he has been so much help with me! And it seems like once one of us gets better, this stupid sickness keeps coming back around. So he has been really great with entertaining Olivia and taking care of me. And he has been really amazing in how much he supports our family.

2. Miss Liv

I know most of my posts are about this sweet little princess, and really I would be fine making all of them but I won't:) With another baby on the way( just over two months:)) lately she has gotten really clingy and I love it. I have really been trying to give all my attention to her during the day because this other baby is going to be coming really soon and of course I'll give Olivia attention when the baby is here but I know how important this time is with her.

Sewing Project

So I am sick again. I believe it is just a head cold but hopefully it goes away fast.
So I should have been sleeping when Olivia took her nap today but instead I decided to make her an apron. It's been a while since I have gotten out my sewing machine and I had some cute material so I decided I needed to practice if I'm going to be making a carrier cover and nursing cover since I didn't buy any when I had Olivia, and I haven't sewed a lot on my machine since Mike has bought it for me last year. I think the apron turned out cute and Olivia loves wearing them especially when she is helping mommy with the dishes, and making dinner:)

(This is the back of the apron)

This is our goofy apron photo shoot:

Fun Weekend

So to start out our fun weekend, on Friday night we got some free box suite tickets to the Utah Grizzlies hockey game. The seats were sweet, and it was nice to be in the box so when Olivia got restless we could just let her run around. I'm not a huge hockey fan, but if I have to watch a game then I like to watch them in person. It's the fights that are the entertaining part anyways, right?:)

So after the game we drove to Logan to visit my sisters. We got there around11 PM and Olivia got her second wind. She didn't go to sleep til after 1, little stinker:) So Friday night we stayed at my sister Kasi's ( who is also expecting for those of you who didn't know:)) And then on Saturday morning we went to her work- she teaches gymnastics- and we let Olivia run around and have some fun jumping on the mats and trampolines. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. We hung out at Stephanie's watching TV, and playing around with our camera's. That night we watched the All-Star events. It was really fun to hang out with them. So while Stephanie was showing me some camera tricks and taking the way cute pictures of Olivia, here are some practice shots I took of Olivia-
